Good Points

Retro Style just what us older geezers might like. A nice change from all the Pastic Rockets and Harley clones. Just the biz for good old style biking. Best bike I have owned.

Bad Points

Built to price in some respects, Cheap plastic clocks, bad design for ignition switch,no mainstand [but offered for £150 as an extra], cheap painted chainguard and headlamp brackets, needs a 6th gear [Fit a 19 tooth front sprocket which is better], Exhausts too restrictive and quiet [EEC regs, not Triumphs fault], All the problems can be sorted out.

General Comments

The bike is a Carte Blanche, as standard it needs some mods and tweeks to get it right. Some items are too retro to be practical, Ignition switch relocation to between clocks where it should be, removal of Air injection, less restrictive exhausts and rejetting, Fit Ikon or Hagon shocks with front progressive springs, no mainstand, fiddly 1970s steering lock, There are plenty of aftermarket bits to spruce up your Bonny if you are prepared to dig deep in the pockets.
