Bad Points

Only minor downside is the lack of cash point machines.


General Comments

Skipton Building Society is recommended. Have been banking with the local Skipton branch for a good number of years simply because:-
1. They have provided excellent, friendly and efficient service. You walk into the branch and they recognise you immediately and know you by name.
2. Their savings products are very competitive.
Have banked with other Banks and Building Societies and been very disappointed with the quality of service given - in particular extreemly poor service from Halifax.
As far as I am concerned Skipton is one of the best Building Societies out there.
