Cost effective, accurate for awhile, shoots better than my RWS that lost accuracy after a year and it had a solid barrel.
Not a fan of the barrel not being solid steel, sometimes it's difficult to load pellets without fliping the pellet around backwards, that was a problem 30 years ago that still needs a redesign. Only accurete until barrel loosens from cocking hundreds of times.
This particular 901 seems to fire wad cutter pellets more accurately than two types of pointed pellets. Pointed pellets are not consistant at all but the wad cutter pellets seem to hit within 1/2 inch of the target at 30 yds consistantly. If you have inconsistant shoots try resighting with other pellets. Seems wad cutters are the best in everything I have shot so far. They may not have the same penitration as a point but the blunt force trama of a wad cutter will mess up a blak bird and you get a nice pop when it hits.
