★★★★★

“I have had this car since new. I bought it in January...”

Good Points
Excellent economy.
Relative low road tax.
Very quick, particularly mid range.
Six gears makes it very long legged - 70mph at 2000rpm in sixth.

Bad Points
It can be a little jerky at really low speads when putting on and taking off power.
Engine oil is quite expensive.
Very powerfull brakes.

General Comments
I have had this car since new. I bought it in January 2001. It now has 40,000 miles on the clock. I have travelled down to Spain on the French autoroutes every summer since I bought the car and the worst return in economy I have had, believe it or not was 58mpg and that was at an average speed of 74mph from the Spanish border to Calais. The most mpg I have had was 70mpg! Hard to believe! The traction control works a treat and the car handles really well and stops very well.
