My husband and I will never fly LOT again despite the fact that we are Polish. I purchased a ticket for my husband who went to see his ill mother. He supposed to fly back the next Monday but unfortunately, his mother past away and he wanted to stay for the funeral. I called LOT in New York (waiting 35 minutes for anyone to answer the phone). I explained the situation and asked if I could change his ticket from Monday to Wednesday. I was put on hold for another 15 minutes and eventually she was back with the price, $417.00.
I had no choice but pay, but, in my opinion, it was inconsiderate to ask for the extra money.
