Excellent helmet allround.
Sometimes awkward to shut the lid.
I bought my Schuberth C2 just over 12 months ago and have worn it virtually every day and over 20,000 miles since. It is very comfortable and even on long journeys doesn't leave me with neck ache. The internal sunvisor is a great add on, though in time the anti fog coating stops working quite so well.
For around town (or if you wear glasses) there is a city position for the external visor that allows extra air in to de-fog. This works well at low speeds, though gets overly noisey at about 50mph. No problem there, just close it tightly and let the standard air vents do the work. Like all quality helmets, it is designed with coms systems in mind. I use autocom with the standard speakers. These fit nicely into little voids, though take a while to place so you don't get ear ache. The only real downside is the wind break on the flip lid. This catches against my chin, meaning that is is a little awkward to close and has to be done at a standstill rather than on the move. It also has a side pocket for your ICE details and instruction on resuscitation.
I had a recent spill, where I hit my head hard enough to have minor concussion. The helmet boasted only a couple of scratches - the replacement of course is another C2.
Best in class is my vote.
