Bad Points

Build and manufacturing quality poor.
Parts fall off, melt, come unstuck, peel off, become electronically and physically defective. Bodywork is paper thin.
Major concerns:
The engine cooling manifold connection melted as it was made from plastic. This caused the engine coolant to leak and spray out.
Driver door electric door lock failed and had to be replace.
Minor concerns (that waste your time in retuning to the dealer):
Rear wiper blade stopped working (twice) because of poor computer control logic.
Heater/console plastics dials (hot/cold back lit display) peeled, cracked and deformed.


General Comments

Micra 1.2 S 55 plate. This is my wife's car and from her perspective its an easy to diver car and the use of internal space and external visibility is very good. Its light, agile, economical, cheap to insure and therefore ideal for a new driver. The Nissan (Stockport) dealer was always accommodating and helpful. I found them better than the German dealerships I am familiar with.
