Good Points

Easy online application.


Bad Points

Poor communication between online and branch. Phone banking not helpful enough and telling me different things.


General Comments

I applied in the beginning of August for a natwest student account, heard nothing so decided to reapply and then contact if nothing heard. This time paperwork was sent with a letter saying I could take the completed paperwork and proof to natwest branch. Upon arrival at branch I was told this was not true and had to produce the letter stating this fact before I was believed. The information was faxed and I was told customer service would ring in the next 48 hours, they didnt. I rang customer service were I was told 3 different answers for the same problem, eventually I asked for a call centre manager and was only then told my paperwork hadnt been received (I had previously been told they had been). I was told customer service would ring me in 48 hours that was 5 days ago, I'm still waiting.
