Good Points

Low prices, no salesman to pay and that gets passed onto customer, you can see the price as well!


Bad Points

No bad points really, I'd like to see more companies offering a similar service.


General Comments

You will get the same product with Double Glazing On The Web as you will with most other double glazing companies, but much cheaper.
I must admit to being a bit concerned about doing my own measuring, but this is only for an initial quote, then they send one of their qualified people round to check it all out / measure etc and thats it!
The fitter arrived on the agreed day at the agreed time, and the job was done within a few hours, and made good to what I would call a high specification.
Only time will tell on the product itself, but it comes with the normal guarantees etc.
I had 2 other quotes for this job which was just replacement french doors, and I'm afraid not much has changed when it comes to salesman tactics.
One salesman told me "your existing door is illegal" but when I asked him to explain so I could check it out he seemed lost for words.
The other salesman just wanted to get "the little lady" to one side as he could see I'd done some research on this.
My wife said to me after he had left "Do I really look that stupid?"
Then came the cheapest quote followed by another £250 off another 2 days later via a call as we hadn't responded, but it was still very expensive.
I think double glazing salesman need to change their tactics and do what doubleglazingontheweb are doing!
