General Comments
Over the past few weeks I have bought a few items from PC world. I have purchased:
Advent lap top for me an Acer One mini Laptop for my daughter, a 19 LCD panel for my son and a Printer.
Fortunately I do a lot of research online before buying. I have spoken to variety of sales people at PC world, and in my experience they did not seem very helpful to me. Price wise if you do research you will find PC world can do some great prices. I would have scored them higher but I think some of the accessories are too expensive. In my case a usb printer cable. In fact I am going to change my rating from 6 to 4 as my blood is boiling while I am writing this. How much can a Printer cable be? I don't expect PC world to charge ebay prices which is around £1.00. Muggins (me) paid £14.99 to PC world, for a bit of wire.
I feel that a bearable price, with a bit of profit for them would be about £6.00. At £14.99 I feel cheated. I then started looking at their other accessories, Mouse, speakers, other cables, printer ink etc. By enlarge I think they are all expensive.
In summary check the prices, do research and I would advise to buy printer cables from somewhere else.
