General Comments

I'm on my third HOnda 1300 Pan European. I had a BMW 1200GS for a year, but the Pan is a better bike for pillion passengers and for luggage carrying (based on standard equipment). Compared to the GS obviously the Pan is heavier to move about in the garage, but once on the road I much prefer it. I've never had any problem with stability with over 25,000 Pan miles in the UK and Europe.
Maybe it's just mine, but I'm afraid that the build quality on my current bike isn't as good as the previous ones. The near side pannier lid retaining strap has pulled off it's screw when it was opened and the pannier locks are much stiffer to operate. Maybe it's a 'Friday' bike.
If I decide to change my bike again it would be for a Pan, but maybe a different colour. I have and would always recommend a Pan to anyone.
