They have cancelled a holiday and it will take 2 weeks for a debit card refund it seems


General Comments

I booked a holiday through this company for my son and his partner to travel to Cyprus 5 weeks from the booking date and paid by debit card. All paperwork arrives confirming the holiday arrangements and then just under 3 weeks prior to the travel date they cancel the holiday stating there is no room availability at the hotel! We contact them by telephone and they are unable to provide a valid explanation as the the reaon for cancellation other than there are no rooms available. They have not yet offered a suitable alternative for me so a refund is requested but they state it will take 2 WEEKS to process. Customer services have been unhelpful I feel and I therefore do not recommend directholidays.co.uk
