Good Points
Build quality appears excellent. Quiet and heats 12 rads in 10 mins (old boiler used to take an hour)!
Seems economical but too soon to say yet
Hot water flow very good

Bad Points
A bit expensive but I'm hoping this will pay dividends in the future.

General Comments
This Vaillant EcoTEC Plus 831 is a combi that replaced an old vented system boiler that was almost 30 years old. Thought it a bit ironic when the installer smiled and said 'don't expect this to last as long as your old one'!

Very pleased so far. It has a really quality solid feel about it particulary the controls and buttons etc. Much more than can be said about some cheaper boilers we looked at before decing on Vaillant. Some had controls that felt like they would break in a couple of months.
