Every soundguy that has mic'd my kit has commented on how amazing the shells sound. I agree, when tuned properly I have never been let down by the sonic quality of this kit. Not bad for being 9 years old!
Bad Points
It's been difficult finding matching Lime Green pieces to complement my setup.
General Comments
I'm 42, been playing for over 25 years and love Yamaha drums. This kit has "Gone Country", Top 40'd and Rocked hard for 9 years. Before that I owned a Tour Custom kit for 10 years with the same level of service. I will always play Yamaha drums.
Thank you Yamaha for providing such a professional instrument to assist in my career goals.
