Made with good leather


General Comments

My son always wore startrite shoes. They used to be made in the UK. You used to be able to get them from Start-rite Factory shops. Now though - they are made in Vietnam and other Asian countries - and the factory shops are no longer.

The leather used a few years ago used to resist even the most arduous use - but now, it seems paper thin. A recent pair that I bought for my youngest son - lasted 4 weeks at school.
