Bad Points
first control box didnt work(brand new fitted by proffesional)
goes nuts and makes a clicking noise, this has drained the battery
sets itself off once everyweek for no reason without fail
fob range is dependant on what it feels like doing.
completely turns off everything in the car like a dead battery, simply opening the bonnet fixed this
just does what it wants
now it just drains the car battery(brand new) within matter of hours
unlock the car and it doesnt even give you time to breath before the immobiliser kicks back on.
General Comments
Wouldnt bother with a Toad Ai606 car alarm. If it wasnt needed for my insurance I wouldnt have it, nor would I ever consider buying a toad alarm ever again, after speaking with several other people who are experiencing thesame problems with this alarm. Complete waste of money, now have to get it taken out and a new one fitted, I cant keep jump starting my car everyday.
Probably the worst £250 I have ever spent. Doesnt do what I want it to do, flattened my cars battery. Poor product, Ive used a sparkrite alarm from Tesco which was better than this.
