Good Points
all fresh produce, well presented, good service. The wine prices, whilst a bit steep, are much more realistic than those of the previous incumbent and the food has, if anything improved.
Bad Points
need more tables because of the popularity
General Comments
We stopped going to the Anchor Inn some 2 years ago due to the seemingly expensive prices of the wine list and so missed the arrival of the current owners and only agreed to go with our son as our treat to celebrate his engagement. We were very pleasantly surprised with what we found and have now told all of the old group who used to go and help keep the place going in the winter. From this experience in the words of Arnie, 'we'll be back'!
