General Comments

We have used Euroffice for at least a couple of years and have always found them excellent. (And in the past I've written reviews praising them to the hilt, they were so good.) Unfortunately, in the last six months or so I feel their service has really gone down hill. They have let us down four times, on two occasions when we were relying on them for important supplies.

OK, I'm a slow learner, but they used to be so good I was hoping it was just a glitch!

Our last four orders have gone exactly like this:

Order failed to turn up, I phoned customer service and telephone is answered by a person who to me, sounds disinterested. They can't seem to help (they have said the computer is down or something) I ask to speak to a supervisor. They put me on hold and apparently cut me off. This has happened each of the four times. I phone back and complain about being cut off and a new person apologises and says I was cut off accidentally. This time they tell me that my order hasn't actually been despatched, which is all I wanted to know in the first place. I write to complain (about the telephone support as much as anything) and they write back with a standard apology (it seems as though they haven't read a word of my complaint) and an offer of a 10% discount. I don't want money off I want them to get my order to me on time and give their telephone staff more training.

The order turns up a couple of days later.

Each time they have a different excuse, which I find hard to believe, for why the order is late. Last time it was because they were waiting for new stock of the 'free gift' before they despatched the order. Needless to say the free gift never turned up.

Euroffice used to send out a strong message that they cared about their customers. I feel as though they don't anymore. Needless to say, I've finally learned my lesson and am looking for new suppliers for the items we used to buy from Euroffice.
