The Hotel is situated in an excellent location amenable for Nightlife, Shopping and close to the beach. I have just returned from a two week stay in Ambassador Playa 1, this being my 5th visit to Benidorm in 32 years, however, my first visit to Playa 1. I would recommend this hotel to Couples, Families and Singles alike. I will most certainly return, am looking on Internet for a deal for May 2009.
Bad Points
This is nothing to do with the Hotel as such, albeit some Holidaymakers would reserve Sun-Longers by placing towels from early morning and would not use them until late afternoon. I realise this should have been reported to reception.
General Comments
As I have stated above the Hotel is excellently located. The rooms are cosy and kept spotlessly clean by domestic staff. We were treated to clean linen and towels daily. Rooms are Air conditioned and very pleasant. The Food served at breakfast and evening meal (we were on half-board basis) was excellent and an extensive choice available. There really is something to suit everyone's palette catering for Children also. I can honestly say I enjoyed a hearty meal every day, there was certainly no necessity to eat in-between meals, just the occasional ice-cream mid afternoon. The entertainments Manager did a sterling job with all activities and encouraged interaction. Bar Staff and waiters were all very helpful, courteous and polite.
