Good Points

very easy to plot addresses. slim and compact. Picks up location easily and holds it for longer even in tunnel. still continues the map navigation even when satalite is lost (ie not listing the routes like navman) Has never got me lost or sent me the wrong way on one way street (like my previous tom tom) The cradle is easy to mount and take off. The prompts are nice clear and repeat every so often till the instruction is carried out. It even has map overviews of unplotted roads (ie within schools, hospitals or shopping centres). It is unique as only few people know about it.

Bad Points

The bluetooth interface could have been a bit better. The traffic antenna could have been intergrated in unit as extra cable makes the unit look messy. The volume could have been a bit louder. House numbers do not appear on the ongoing route to the address like the navman.

General Comments

The Mitac Mio C520 is wonderful. And just like the Iphone, one can live with the shortcomings because what it does have makes it head and shoulders above the rest. It is a bit expensive compared to the majority of the Sat Navs available today, but just like the German Car, you get what you pay for. So if you want reliable, sleek and a unique sat nav that will be there when you want it and wont send you 20 miles off course or down the wrong way on the motor way, get the Mio510. On the other hand if you want to watch the pennies and don't mind the occassional spend on petrol having been sent of course, get any of the rest! The choice is yours.
