I booked a car for two weeks in Palma. They used Solcar as their local rep.
1) I booked full insurance, but found I had to pay extra to insure the tyres and window-screen. Further, I had to pay for a tank of petrol before I could take the car, adding £100 to the cost of the insurance.
2) I got a flat tyre and the company refused to visit me to repair it. They said I had to take the car to their office in order to get the tyre repaired. I was annoyed by this because it was at my expense (additional £30) and because I then would have lost lose half a day of my holiday. In the end I drove for 6 days on the spare tyre.
