General Comments
Well I that was the worse places I have been. This was our first camping trip and I wouldn't go back to Reighton Sands even if it was free. The pitches were steep, poorly managed, dirty and very windy.
The 'entertainment' complex itself is very poor, and don't have much for the kids apart from arcades. The play park was poorly maintained, paints on the play area are fading and you can tell that they haven't been seen to for at least 10 years. The pool was absolutely disgusting, the kids were really looking forward swimming but when we saw the state of the pool we quickly changed our minds.
The place itself is poorly maintained, lots of pot holes, and you can tell that they can't really be bothered to keep it nice. I know this was only a cheap holiday, but cheap doesn't mean that you have to compromise hygiene, I found the facilities disgusting, the toilets were mostly blocked, hardly cleaned and the panels underneath the sinks were missing, it was absolutely disgusting!
We booked for 2 nights and only stayed for 1 it was that bad.
The views however are a different story, we enjoyed the experience once we were out of the complex. I really wouldn't recommend Reighton Sands.

Center Parcs - Review - Centre Parcs Oasis Windfell Forest
Centre Parcs say that is was due to refurbishment, I beleive it was due to labour costs at this quiet time of the year. Albeit still great choice in the eating department.

we went for a week, we saw 11 rats there, they were running around on the out door patio to the club, we reported them to the manager only to be told theres rats everywhere you go and you cant stop them, we saw one half dead outside the office and reported again and they put a tub over it and said it had eaten rat killer, which bothered me incase a young child saw rat killer and ate it like toddlers do, we paid for the highest spec caravan but i felt it was a lower spec one, hardley any utencils in kitchen, dirty carpets etc, facilitys were ok but not brill, chip shop was lovely, good value for money, swimming pool good, amusments were good, club was pricey for drinks and food and service was terrible, we tried to ignore the rat infestation and get on with our hols but it was always on my mind, the kids enjoyed it though, but i wont go there again,
