Good Points
Ideal location near beach. We had a very large room (no 18)
Bad Points
The pool is closed from 2.30 to 5.30 p.m. and does not open until 10.00 a.m. Extortionately priced air conditioning - 9 Euros per day. Room was only serviced 3 times in 2 weeks. Apparently the hotel serves snacks and drinks but it was not advertised and there is no menu available
General Comments
If you want long leisurely days by the pool this is NOT the place for you. You are not allowed in the pool before 10.00 a.m. or between 2.30 and 5.30 p.m. Low betide anyone trying to sneak in at 5.28 - the manager will stand at the top of the steps tapping her watch and say "2 minutes yet!"
When we were there (August 2008) temperatures topped 40 degrees and we needed the air conditioning. This cost 9 euros a day - extortionate.
Many of the people there when we were have been returning to the same hotel for years and were a bit cliquey.
Stoupa and Kalogria are lovely resorts but there are many more apartments and hotels available where I would imagine would be made to feel much more welcome and could use the pool all day.
