Bad Points

Although Magix Movie Maker is an excellent choice for Beginner's, Advanced, and even Expert editors alike, it can take quite some time to get used to the interface. It has almost too many buttons, and most of which are directly linked to the same process.

It is not entirely noob friendly, alhtough it comes complete with an excellent Help File covering everything possible within the app, it can take some time to set the layout and user preferences to you settings, simply because confusion lurks over which button or tab do you go to to achieve that?


General Comments

Well it's certainly now at it's cheapest on the market, but don't allow the small price to speak for itself.

For those of you looking to add user customized special fx with total control over all apsects of color, contrast, gamma, level of fx, then look no further. It also has it's own built in Audio editor, for adding cool fx to your sounds and music also.

This app was built with 'Style of Movie' in mind, since the 'Fx', 'Effects', Audio, Stabilizing, and 'Visuals', all stand it their own catagory entirely. Each with a window an library of it's own. Allowing the user to change the syle of their movie, with some excellent, and not too corny results.

Improvise, Imagine, it has PIP (Picture in Picture) capability, Black Box, Green Box, and even Alpha Layering filters.

What do you watch on? Take your pick. Magix movie maker has the ability to export to Various Formats, including; WMV, AVI, AVI-DV, and many many more. Choose your Aspect Ratio, Resolution, use templates, or type it in yourself, and preview the movie before export to test the changes.

Are you low on budget, want somthing with all the features or expensive apps?
Buy this, I guarantee you will e satisfied. Ok, so it may take some time to get used to, and yes it has lot's of buttons to press and push. But really, it has everything, and looks and delivers as professional as it sounds.
