£50+ is what I usually pay for most my t shirts and yes for around the same mark you can get better than Lacoste for polo shirts such as Boss (I'm talking Janis, Vito and Verona shirts not the cheaper ones like Ferrara) and Paul and Shark who are possibly the best casual brand in the world for sheer quality, especially polo's and knitwear.
General Comments
Well made Polo's and Knits are Lacoste's plus points. The 2 button placket polo's look the part but their 'sport' range of polo shirts are better quality. I've owned one for about 5 years and it still looks like new. The standard 2 button polo shirts are not quite as good in terms of quality but they look a lot better than the sport range of shirts
