Better interest rates than a bank long term.
General Comments
I belive they made a complete mess up of a isa bond I took out nearly 4 months ago, still not resolved, and apparently it is difficult to find my paperwork.

on 14th Sep 2008finally my bond was opened after 4 months, nationwide being fair to them have admitted their short comings, and have compensated me for the trouble this has caused me,but i would have sooner not have had to gone thought this problem.

I think that Nationwide have told customers who plan to or have already opened ISA bond accounts (including my family - see my own review, I am a loyal customer) that due to their overwhelming demand in popularity - the ISa teams are working through a backlog, so much so that they have stopped all transfers frm other providers to "catch up".
