Bad Points
Customer services. No free broadband in my area.
General Comments
I have been with TalkTalk for 2 1/2 years and when I first took my broadband contract out with them I was told that there was no free broadband in my area but I could expect there to be within a few months, therefore I took out my contract and agreed to pay the £10 per month. 2 1/2 years later, after numerous phone calls to ask why I am still having to pay, I am STILL waiting for my free broadband and the last straw came last month when they sent me my bill with a leaflet enclosed asking me to introduce friends to TalkTalk and I could win £1000; I was furious and sent them an email to tell to look after their existing customers by ensuring everyone can receive free broadband". Three emails and a letter later I eventually received a reply in the form of a phone call from one of their staff members trying to explain why I can't yet get free broadband. They have agreed to discount me £5 every month on my phone bill for the next 6 months hoping then to provide me with free broadband - I won't hold my breath!
