General Comments

I wouldnt touch their car insurance again. I had read lots of bad reviews about them charging you £20 every time you call them regarding a query but thought if I paid in full once I received the documents there wouldnt be a problem. More fool me! You get a 14 day cooling off period so you can make changes without a charge but if you dont recieve you documents within 14 days of your policy which I didnt you will be charged. Let me recap - Their fault in not even posting documents out in time - their mistake on them no matter how trivial - me calling them to explain = Me getting charged £20! Will never go near them again no matter how cheap their policy is. STEER CLEAR and BE AWARE!

i dis-agree, the first 14days cooling off period is the option for a customer to think about the cover they have taking out, and if they wish cancel, with only a time on cover charge. its not there as you have suggested, to make amendments to the policy without getting charged. to be fair p/o who i used to work for, makes you fully aware of this. im not in any way to defend them but you also state every time you call about a query, you are charged £20 admin fee, again not true.

as with other comments on this site, and others, ive worked in insurance for donkeys years and to be honest your comment is down to the fact, you are not happy because it comes down to not reading t&cs. thats up to you.

Fair point. They wont be getting anymore of my business thats all I have to say. There are plenty of better companies out there which is why I have changed. You obviously still value them as you have worked for them fair play, but they are not for me. Decide for yourselves.

no i dont value them at all. i can understand where you are coming from as to be honest, a insurance company can say all day long you should of checked t&cs and all that. the reason im on these sites, for me is to advise people about charges. so they dont fall foul again. you commented on phoning p/o and being charged, yes thats is true to a certain extent. i.e. any amendments made there is a £20 fee, for what?? not a thing. reason being? the underwriter does not get a penny of it. its the broker fee. apologises if i seemed to defend them, in no way would i.
