Good Points

Compact, takes up little cupboard space compared to most if not all other ice cream makers. Quite fun hearing it whirring away in the freezer as it makes you lovely fresh ice cream.


Bad Points

The ice cream can be slightly grainy - I quite like this but my wife does not particularly.


General Comments

I think the Panasonic BH-941P is an excellent product - would thoroughly recommend. I believe it may now have been discontinued though which is a shame. The last set of batteries only made 4 - 5 batches of ice cream - these cost around £5.70 so a significant cost factor. I think the claim is that they should last for 30 or so batches so a big shortfall. My mother-in-law put the battery / motor housing in washing up water and killed it - I had to get a replacement.
