Good Points

There are many good points for this hotel! My husband and myself were only there for one weeks stay, and it was wonderful, we were made very welcome and even given a meal free of charge on our arrival.
The bed linen was spotless clean and the room smelled very fresh, the cleaner made the bed and swept and washed the floor every day, and the staff were very friendly and helpful if ever we needed anything all we needed to do was ask and they did their utmost to make sure we got it, and whenever we were at the poolside bar, we were always offered a free drink by the bar manager (and one of the managers sons) they just couldn't seem to do enough for us!


Bad Points

Although the beds were very clean, I have to say the mattresses were hard and the pillows felt like you were sleeping on a rock! I requested a softer pillow, which was immediately taken to my room, and although it wasn't much softer, it seemed such a small thing to bother about I didn't let it spoil our enjoyment of our stay, we were in a side room and yes, the music from the bars across the street was very loud and did keep us awake, but, hey, we were on holiday and could catch up on sleep at any time!


General Comments

The staff at Hotel Altunakar 11 could not have been more friendly, the food was beautiful, the hotel was clean and the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, the pool was cleaned every day, the location couldn't have been better, OK, this wasn't the Hilton, but for the price and the star rating it was simply fabulous! I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family without hesitation, my advise to anyone considering staying here would be, remember, this is another country respect the fact that you are staying as a guest, and mutual respect goes a long way.
