Quality of build. My F2AS is 30+years old and still working perfectly. The split focusing screen and depth of field check speeds up the picture taking process . All the controls come naturally to hand. The feel of the camera gives you confidence and the results back that up.
Heavy, with MD-2 and MB-1 attatched.
I was involved in multiscreen 35mm presentations and used a pinregister adapted Nikon F2 as my rostrum camera and the Nikon Macro lens. Again reliability was expected and I was never let down. Multi LCDs have not yet managed to emulate the impact of multi 35mm projectors.
