Bad Points

They clearly heavily discounted the first year and there was a substantial increase in premium between years 1 and 2, even though I didn't need to make a claim during the first year.


General Comments

I've been very satisfied with the ease of making a claim and with the telephone helpline. An excellent service. M&S has paid the vet directly without problem or delay for each claim I've made. They are also one of the few insurance companies which the local vet will accept this arrangement with as other companies can be slow to pay. It made a huge difference not to have to find £800 up front for my animal's care. They are also competitively priced for older animals, and cover lifetime conditions if necessary.
