I ordered a summerhouse priced £1799 on line and received an e mail to confirm the order had been placed and delivery would be in 21 days. When i rang the week before the due delivery date to explain i was on holiday and would not therefore be home to accept the delivery, i was told that the order had been cancelled by Screwfix and i should have had an e mail to confirm ( i hadn't but its their word against mine). They offered to reorder the product but i would have to pay the increase of £200 which i was not prepared to do. This was their error and therefore i feel they should have honoured the price. In their defence i was offered £100 in vouchers to spend in store but i cant see me doing much DIY so declined. Have since purchased the same product at the original price direct from the manufacturer!
