Flexible bookings.
Left us stranded at the airport without providing accommodation.
Although Southwest Airlines market themselves as most customer friendly airlines, I have never come across customer service which I would describe as the opposite. I got stranded at the Phoenix (PHX) airport for the whole night and they declined to provide me any accommodations or compensate for their faults. Yes, it was all their faults because of a delay in my original flight which made me miss the connecting one. Usually, most of the airlines make appropriate arrangements to accommodate their customers and provide incentives calm down the angry customer. This is the first time I have come across such situation and surprisingly with Southwest. I usually have very good experience with Southwest but this experience is poor. If I had known about it in advance, I would have made some appropriate arrangements myself rather than depending on Southwest & hence getting stranded at the airport.
I am very very disappointed and must take this extremely painful situation under serious considerations before choosing Southwest Airlines next time. I have been very a regular customer of Southwest but it appears to me that being a regular customer doesn't guarantee with even basic respects. I am regretting of choosing the Southwest because I was planning to go with American Airlines due to their special relationships with my employer.
I'm stranded here at Phoenix (PHX) airport and just don't know what to do because it is so late in the night in a strange city. All the Southwest folks already left.
