Good Points

Brings carpets up like new! Quite attractive machine. Very versatile: cleans carpets, rugs, mattresses, curtains, and hard floors! It will inflate objects such as airbeds. You can put perfume on it and it will spread the aroma in the room. Cheaper than a nanny or employing a domestic help! Made from dicast alluminium which makes it very durable. No dust escapes from the bags when you use the Kirby, unlike other machines. Excellent service.


Bad Points

Very noisy. Quite heavy. Hasn't got a retractable flex. Too complicated for the granny to use! No CD to refer to for demonstration so you have to listen very carefully to the initial demo or scrutinise the manual that comes with it.


General Comments

I have just purchased a brand new Kirby Cleaner. I did not pay anything near the asking price and with it I received a free hard floor kit system, packet of bags and shampoo system, plus a bottle of shampoo, a bottle of citrus solution, spot stain remover, heavy traffic remover and oil and grease remover.
My friends and relatives instantly noticed how beautiful the rug looked, having cleaned it with the Kirby. I would highly recommend the Kirby machine especially if you can get the price lowered and obtain lots of freebies!
