General Comments

The car was booked with a third agent through Economy Car Hire. On arrival at Malaga Airport, nobody was there to meet us in the arrival's hall as detailed on the booking information.

After some phone calls, we eventually were told to go upstairs and wait outside departures.

A courtesy bus too us to the third party depot. We then had a 45 minute wait as they did not have our vehicle and wanted to give us a smaller car (that our luggage would not fit in) which we would need to return ourselves in 3 hours time and exchange for our booked vehicle.

After a phone call from myself, Economy Car Hire were very helpful in sorting that out and a car magically appeared! I might also add that third party tried to sell us top up insurance that we had already purchased from ECH.

The car itself was clean inside but fifth gear did not work. A quick phone call to both ECH ensued to ensure that we would not be charged for that.

No arrangements on where to return the car were given to us. We had to call and ask ourselves. After returning the car to the depot a courtesy bus took us to the airport.

All in all, I found ECH very hepful but third party company left a lot to be desired. I think ECH would be best to pick their third party rental comapnies carefully.
