When I complained they got back to me
I would never do business with Magnet again. Although the initial design consultation was good, every aspect of the 'full circle' service since then has gone from bad to worse. We paid for the kitchen in full (a mere £15,000 I might add) and still don't have a completed kitchen now - at the end of August. I've written to Head Office twice and received no acknowledgement from them yet - they simply forwarded the letter to the Fulham office who then called us to organise the next stage of installation as if it was still January and nothing had happened! The kitchen looks to me as if it has been thrown together - it looks like we fitted it blindfolded - and the work surface was damaged. To add insult to injury, Magnet suggested that the contractors said it wasn't damaged on delivery and we must have done it! We've spent a couple of months washing our pots in the bath, three months with the old kitchen left outside our front door, the sink has been on our living room floor for months, the electrician's work was unsatisfactory and we had to pay someone else to rectify it... I could go on. All the while, Magnet seem as though they couldn't care less.
