Good Points

Will be one of the first places to get washed away if Britain ever gets invaded by the incoming sea.


Bad Points

Some of the staff we dealt with were unhelpful.
No control to access to site, anyone can get on.
The site was dirty.
The accommodation was filthy.
It was very noisy at all hours of the day.
Expensive facilities.


General Comments

Beware, I do not recommend visiting Caister unless you really like a good horror story. On arrival into the site you may be forgiven for thinking that you have stumbled onto the set of "On the Buses" or "Carry on Camping". It's a real throw back from the 70's. Some of the staff were extremeley unhelpful and rude. We were kept waiting at reception for hours whilst our caravan was being "sorted". Eventually turned up to find a handyman trying to put fridge door back on (to no avail). Complained, only to have another handyman turn up with replacement fridge who told us to put it in the lounge as he wouldn't be able to take the broken one away! Complained again, offered replacement substandard caravan and told to make do! Went to reception and eventually offered refund in the morning but only after wife and i kicked up such a fuss that they just wanted rid of us!
