Helpful and friendly call staff.
Having applied online for a Virgin credit card and requested balance transfers from other cards, Virgin set a credit limit lower than the ammounts they transferred. when I recieved the first statement I had an overlimit fee of £12 applied and this was the first time I had been informed of the credit limit. As I hadn't as yet used the card this was entirely virgins mistake the fee was duly recredited to the account. 2 months later my card had interest applied to it, as it was supposed to be interest free for 15 months I again phoned and was informed this was due to the account going over limit (Virgins original fault) eventually this was sorted and the interest refunded and the interest free period reinstated. I set up a direct debit for the minimum payment so as to not miss a payment and thought everything was now OK. NO instead of the minimum payment being drawn from my bank the full outstanding ammount was drawn putting my bank account seriously in the red and charges incurred - the saga goes on.
