Last year I had an accident with my ipod touch. It fell in the bath and died a horrible watery death. I called up to make a claim only to be told it wasnt covered as it was a portable device. ok I said but can I upgrade my insurance to make sure it included laptop mobile and new ipod. this was done and our premium went up by about £60. A few days ago my darling daughter put a hole in my laptop with the docking station of my shuffle (closed the lid on it) I called up to make a claim only to be told it wasnt covered.
I will keep you posted on what happens next but needless to say that after this is resolved I will be changing insurance companies.
