Evripides Village Hotel Review

Great atmosphere, Very friendly staff, Excellent rooms, Pool area is very spacious and well laid out, with plenty of loungers to go round, Probably the best cocktails in Kardamena if not the whole island (Yamas Uri)!
My girlfriend loves her cocktails and Uri does a perfect long island ice tea that i will vouch for as it is probably my favourite cocktail!
Both father and son are very friendly and we hit it off imediately with them.
The whole complex is very clean through out and there is a standard compliment of untensil`s in the rooms for example 3 people per room then you get 1 of everything (dinner plate, knife, fork, tea spoon, desert spoon, cup/saucer, breakfast bowl and so on)
Don`t expect all your home comforts because in reality they are running a hotel not a like for like home services everyone.
Your not going to get i bottle opener or a coffee grinder so please don`t go there thinking you will.
Our stay was probably 1 of the best holidays i have had in a longtime and that`s thanks to the staff and family who run the complex so i say a big thank you and well done to all of them!!!!!

Bad points well if im to really look hard then i would say the distance from the town is about 2.5km approx 45mins, but its a lovely walk in the evening but would advise anyone to get the bus during the day which runs at hourly intervals during the day and costs 1.6euros each way or a taxi which will cost you 7euros each way.
The beach at the entrance to the hotel is a bit gravelly for me but a 300mtr walk in either direction brings you to sand and sea so no real complaint there either

I have been looking at the recent reviews regarding the Evripedes hotel/apartments and think some of you have been a little miss led by your tour operators to be honest.
We have just returned from a 1 week stay at the evripedes and i have to honestly say in the time we were there our service was excellent. My partner and myself became very good friends with both father and son who run the apartment complex along with there very friendly staff.
But please bare in mind that the newest part of the complex does not have the restaurant open yet due to it being planned for next year something the tour operators have neglected to advise all there clients of. (typical)
We hired a quad bike for the first 3days of our stay at the cost of 100 euros which we haggled a little bit for but its worth it. It gave us a little more freedom to sight see around the island.
I you are the more adventurous type there is a great water park on the other side of the island near mari mari as well as a lovely beach also they do some great cruises from Kardamena,
Going to Turkey or the 3 islands for example.
You can also do plenty of water sports such as diving, parasending, banana boats and alike.
I would also advise anybody who goes for a meal in town to go along the harbour front and visit a chinese restaurant called the FU KING GOU it does some of the best chinese and greek cusine i have ever tasted. My girlfriend is a little picky regarding here food but absolutely loved all the different types of food we tasted during our stay. So another big thank you to all of the staff at the Fu king gou restaurant oh and if you feel the need ask Hercules the waiter to tell you how many languages he can say thank you or cheers in. I was very impressed by how many he knows lol

All in all everyone that we met during our stay made our holiday absolutely perfect.
And i am probably 1 of the most awkward people to please when i have paid good money for anything so take it as gospel everyone go and find your dream holiday in Kardamena, Kos and stay at the Evripedes holiday village apartments
