General Comments

I was talked into this card by the assistant when I was paying for a pair of trousers. I was offered a bottle of wine as an incentive. It soon became clear that it was more than a loyalty card and that it was, first and foremost, a credit card. The assistant assured me that i did not need to use that part of the facility, that I should use it just as a loyalty card. This was, knowingly or unknowingly, I know not which, inaccurate. If you don't pay using this card, you do not get loyalty points. I only know this from the reviews here after I did an internet search to see what I had let myself into. I would have preferred that I was told the truth so I could make up my mind on facts. Now I have to chop the card up and send it back with a gracious note, as I have a right to do. That will cost the M&S credit card organisation more than the wine it gave me. The wine was slightly below average, not one I would buy, so I don't feel bad about it. I do feel bad about being given inaccurate information.
