Good Points

Very few, it is best to check details with a fine tooth comb. I went to Al Diwan resort Sharm el Sheikh.


Bad Points

The hotel was far from what I expected, it was miles from the main resort and poor food every night 3\10.
Room Our bed was very hard indeed
Room Basic 5\10 but the cleaner was very good 9\10
The staff most very nice polite and helpful 9\10
Entertainment very poor once a week traditional Egyptian for 2 hours so only 2\10
On site shop 5\10
Pool I thought was dangerous when the surrounding surface was wet also filters not working well oil scum around water line tiles in poor condition ungrouted lots of places for germs to collect but usable needs a a full maintenance project 4\10
The whole exterior of the hotel eg tiles pool sun shades sun beds etc So i feel anyone going should look at package with a fine tooth comb
The pick up service was very good on time and nice mini coach.


General Comments

In my opinion the Al Diwan Hotel is one that low cost beds should not promote as I feel it will get them a bad name in the holiday field unless it is revamped with better entertainment and a far better standard of food to the visitors. Posted by Mr j Ireland age 64 from Worcester UK
