Very easy to set up the site and add extras like MySQL
In general their Tech Support were very unhelpful I feel - I had to do all the investigation myself and tell them what's wrong!
We've had a lot of downtime. Hardly a week goes past when there isn't some problem causing the site to go down or run slow for several hours.
No warnings about maintenance work that will affect your site. Unless you login to control panel to check service status. Even then they always take longer than they say they will in my experience.
They recently upgraded from PHP version 4 to version 5. Should have been simple right? Our site was down for a whole weekend. Everytime we contact Tech Support to say there is a problem or that the site is down, we get the same message "there are no reported problems on our servers", which means loads of ping-pong messages telling them exactly what pages to check etc... Then when the site came back again with PHP version 5, I realised they had switched on the variable "display_erros" causing error message to show on our live site! I asked them to switch it off and they said they couldn't due to "security and performance" reasons. I pointed out to them that PHP recommends the setting should be switched off on production servers and they said they would pass my comments to their development team. I had to adapt all my PHP pages to switch the setting off at run-time. display_errors is still switched on.

I would not recommend Streamline. I am now looking to move to an alternative hosting company.
