Heaven on earth for us, regular visitors (over 15 years). We first went with our kids when they were young after having a 'kids' holiday at Butlins! (sorry). When the children were asked where they wanted to go next year it was no contest - Porth Tocyn. We have gone every year since.
Bad Points
No hotel will be for everyone. Fortunately (for us), the place and owner, have character. This will inevitably mean that some will not feel comfortable.
General Comments
Location of Gwynedd Porth Tocyn Hotel - out of this world!
Food - excellent
Microclimate - unbelievable - or we are always very lucky
The whole operation is geared towards making for a relaxed break, with fine food (and good wine) and a very positive attitude to well behaved children.
