Good Points

New apartments, spacious rooms with new furniture, good sized balcony, very modern bathroom. Lovely fluffy white towels.


Bad Points

Cleaner's trolley was left outside our room on a daily basis (we were on end of corridor). Sunbed cushions were really dirty and plastic sunbeds broken. Children's section of pool had a guard rail around it which was broken - metal poles could be easily pulled out.


General Comments

My husband & I arrived at Polyusi apartments about 3.30am, reception staff were nice, we were shown to our room by a porter - good job as it was in a separate building from hotel. We had to walk through the grounds in the dark, as the lights went off at 1am & we couldn't see a hand in front of us. We had own pool for apartments but could never get a sunbed until about 4pm as everyone had their towels on from early in the morning. Never ate in hotel but was told it wasn't all that nice. Sunny beach great for 18 - 30s but not for the older traveller in my opinion. Some good eating places but we found the best one on our last night (as per usual) called 'La Banana' cheap n cheerful, the food was lovely and you got quite a plateful, bottle of bubbly only 8.50 lev as in other places you'll pay about 15 lev and it's the same make. Nessebar about 8 mile away is lovely for a day out, only 1 lev on the bus, there's the old town with cobbled streets and little tavernas, and shops for us girlies, the new town is on the mainland. Weather very hot and sunny.
