Good Points

Good friendly dining staff and especially the manager.
Rooms kept clean.
Close to Rhodes.


Bad Points

Animation team - loud kareoke every night until 11.30pm drove us to distraction. Team was sacked but too late for us.
No beach towel - four star should provide in my view.
Pebbly beach across busy main road.
Found the food to be repetitive.
Pool size inadequate for size of hotel in my view.
Frequently had to wait in long queue to get free drink from sole barman at night.
2nd-4th floor accommodation in need of refurbishment in my opinion - which is due next year apparently.


General Comments

We have had increasingly good quality hotels in Turkey and Greece the last three years but found the Oceanis Hotel this year disappointing. The Eastern Mediterranean hotel rating system is always a bit of a lottery but the Oceanis really in my opinion is stretching the limits of 4* and they need to up their game. For a family holiday the East coast would have been a better choice with better access to sandy beaches and less blustery weather.
