Clear layout. Easy to navigate. The new Wishlist feature is very useful and was notably absent on the old Tesco Download site. Especially liked browsing albums and adding odd tracks to wishlist. Then being able to transfer to basket or discard.
My older Tesco Download account was not transferred to new site and although i subscribe to the mailshots this was not mentioned as far as i can see. Nor can i re-download anything i have bought over the last two years. I was not aware i would need to install any software until after i made purchase. The software fails to install unless you have admin rights but doesn't tell you. (Found that fact in FAQ). If you do install it as admin then no other users can see the target download folder or do downloads. So you have to be admin even to perform a download! And finally when you get it to run, then every item in download schedule gets flagged with error status of "ClientInfo min/max length constraint violation " 35-minutes later i'm still waiting for their helpdesk to pick up my phone call.
If you are already techno-savvy then avoid this site. I am stunned that an organisation that has revolutionised retail shopping in the UK and cultivated incredible brand loyalty (i have resisted every other retailers's loyalty scheme except Clubcard because it genuinely rewards my custom with benefits or discounts) Their innovation has finally hit a brick wall with this site. I am confident that Tesco will either resolve my problem or refund me. But this is not a position i thought i could ever be in with them.
