Good Points

We stayed in the Tej Marhaba last easter it was wonderful. Before we went we heard a lot of bad things about Sousse and the hotel, things like it's not safe to go shopping, being robbed etc that wasn't the case. We felt totally safe, shopping in the Madina going out. We even went sight seeing on our own, we got a taxi to the train station got our tickets and off we went. Staying in the hotel was good, we went swimming in the indoor pool, we had a massage as well. The food in the hotel was fine, breakfast is from 6 til 9, the variety was excellent. The evening meal was gorgeous every day, because we only eat halal meat the waiter would point out every day what foods we shouldn't eat as they are not halal. The hotel is well maintained, cleaning staff work through the night when it's quieter. We had a sea view, the room was fine cleaned every day. Over all the holiday was great - don't let anything put you off.


General Comments

It was great when we went last easter 2008. The food was great, room was clean and tidy. We felt safe going out shopping sight seeing etc. We traveled to the capital of Tunisia on a train, we went all around sight seeing on our own. Staff clean all night through when it's quiet.We really enjoyed it will go back. As long as you keep a smile on your face and relax it will be fine. Before we went we heard a lot of scary things about Tunisia e.g its not safe, people get robbed, you cant leave the hotel etc.. not the case at all.
