Good Points

Flight on time, very professional and excellent team of staff onboard, prompt service with a smile. Nice clean plane, good seats.


Bad Points

The check in at LAX was rather poor as the particular member of check in staff was slightly confusing in her instructions. However, completely reduced to a non-issue by the rest of the trip.


General Comments

We flew from LAX to London Heathrow with Air France. This was part of a Delta booking, who are in an Alliance with Air France. After a confusing check in, we experienced an excellent flight which I can only liken to the great service I found on the likes of Korean Air. We never had to ask for anything, something which I have got quite used to with many other airlines.

Travelling with a baby there was few extra things to take into account and the Air France onboard staff were very prompt. The skycot we requested was provided straight after taking off. Our seats were excellent as a result of requesting the skycot, which meant we were at the front of the middle row in a 777. However, even without the extra legroom these seats provided, I was very pleased with the spacious seats and the extensive in-flight entertainment.

I didn't need much of that though. The skycot meant our daughter slept for 7,5 hours of the 9,5 hour journey and I slept about 5,5 hours myself, although I could have easily slept more.

Food and beverages provided throughout and of good quality, although I'm aware this is from a third party caterer. The flight itself was smooth and only 10 minutes late due to a late take off at LAX, however, this is outside of Air France's control as getting your take off slot in the US is like a giant lottery!

Highly recommended.
